Hello beauties! Today’s post is all about Beauty Vitamins. Beauty vitamins are a great way to be beautiful from the inside out (literally). I’ve personally taken different types of beauty vitamins. They’ve given me great results every time. The beauty vitamins I’ve taken are biotin supplements, collagen, and prenatal vitamins. They all gave me different results, and I’m excited to share my experience with you all today.
Beauty Vitamins: Pre-Natal Vitamins
Believe it or not, prenatal vitamins are NOT just for pregnant women! A hair stylist recommended prenatal vitamins to me to encourage hair growth. After one month, my hair was shinier. After two, it was fuller. After three months, I noticed considerable growth. I usually take them for 6 months. Then I’ll take a 6 month long break. Then I’ll start again. You can buy these at Target for like 5 bucks. Just be sure to explain to people that you’re taking them for beauty purposes before they jump to conclusions and start planning a baby shower for you!
*Warning! The higher doses of vitamin A will make your skin more sensitive. So avoid waxing while taking them, and stick to threading instead.
Beauty Vitamins: Biotin
With consistent use of biotin vitamins, I noticed my hair sheds less. I like to take biotin when I’m not taking prenatal vitamins. The results are not as noticeable as the prenatal vitamins, though. However biotin makes my nails SO strong and thick. It’s great, because they’re usually thin and brittle. I got them at Costco.
Beauty Vitamins: Collagen
My beauty school teacher told me that it is ideal for a woman in her 20’s to take collagen supplements. It will help a woman’s body wrinkle less quickly. It will also help prevent stretch marks later in life, like during pregnancy. This is one supplement that does not have immediate results. I think of it more of an investment. I’m taking collagen now, so I can keep looking great later. You can buy them at any specialty vitamin store.
Alrighty there you have it. My review on beauty vitamins I’ve tried: prenatal, biotin, and collagen. Have you tried any of these vitamins? What was your experience? Do you have any other beauty vitamins you’d recommend? I’d love to read in the comments! As always, thanks for reading! Until next time. 🙂
