Hello beauties! Today’s post is all about a DIY Skin Detox, just in time to rock glowing skin for the Spring! People often ask me how I keep my skin clear. I say its a mixture of good genetics, topical maintenance, and skin detoxes every now and then. Now, no one can control their genetics. However, we can control what we put on our face and how we detox it. It’s always important to wash our face every morning and night. Good skin hygiene with the appropriate products for your specific skin type will go far. A DYI skin detox will give our daily regimen a special boost too! There are tons of ways to make a DIY skin detox. Masks, for example, are a great option. However, today’s blog is just in time for the spring! It’s a yummy detox DRINK that will keep your skin and whole body feeling great! I’m so excited to share it with you all.

DIY Skin Detox for the Spring

This skin detox recipe is super easy. Fill a big jug (a gallon size or so) with ice water. Then add the following:

  • An entire cucumber, sliced
  • The juice of three big lemons
  • A handfull of fresh mint leaves

Let the DYI Skin Detox Water seep over night in your fridge. The next day, enjoy a yummy and refreshing skin detox. This tastes great and is a fantastic way to stay on top of keeping hydrated.

High end spas always give this drink out and call it “spa water.” Spas give it to clients after a facial to refresh them, and encourage them to maintain glowing skin!
