Hello beauties! Today I will be sharing tips that worked for me, on how to stay motivated to work out.

How to stay motivated to work out

1. Work out with a partner: As some of you may know, I met the love of my life 3 years ago at the gym. I played hard to get at first, but he eventually swept me off my feet and is now my boyfriend and best friend! We don’t always work out together, but at least once a week we hit the gym as a power couple and get a work out in. As you can tell from the above picture, he is a beast! So his drive pushes me, and my excitement keeps him going. It helps us to keep each other accountable and realize our goals.

2. Get your office involved: My coworkers and I just finished a squat challenge. Booty booty booty! My friend from another department also told me about a burpee challenge that I am currently killing. It’s a lot easier to set goals for a month at a time, because really we can do anything for a few weeks. So constantly change up your workouts and keep them fun. Which brings me to my next tip…

3. Try new things! Whether it’s a spin class, boot camp, or an indoor rock climbing gym. Trying new things will keep you interested. It will also shock your body so that you don’t plateau. And, if you see better results, you’ll stay motivated!

4. Take before and after pictures of your progress: Don’t obsess over the scale. Instead, take your measurements or have your body fat measured. It will help you to keep your eyes on the prize. For example: this picture was taken exactly one year apart.
