Spring Skin Care Tips

Hello Beauties! Today’s blog is full of professional Spring Skin Care Tips for everyone. How to transition your dehydrated winter skin to beautiful spring skin.

I want to share spring skincare tips so that your skin will bloom this spring. Most of us feel drier during the winter. The fact of the matter is, the winter can dehydrate our skin. It doesn’t have enough water. This is why our skin feels drier, itchy, flakey. In order to have a spring glow, your skin needs water. Here’s how to hydrate it.

Cleanse Appropriately:
If you’re normal, combination, or oily, use a foaming gel cleanser. If you’re dry (no oil) or aging, a creamy cleanser is better.

Tone:
I don’t mean to rub Seabreeze all over your skin. It will irritate you and dehydrate further. Instead, use a hydration mist. This type of toner is sprayed directly on your face to give you a drink of water. Dermalogica and Mario Badescu both make great hydration toners.

Exfoliate:
Gentle remove dead skin cells so that new, healthy, hydrated skin cells can come to the surface.

Hyaluronic Acid:
Use a lightweight serum with hyaluronic acid to bind moisture closer to your skin. Hyaluronic Acid holds a thousand times its weight in water. Even if you’re oily, you need water on your skin. Natali Products and Dermalogica have excellent hyaluronic acid serums.

SPF:
The Sun emits harmful UV rays. These can also dehydrate your skin and make it look dull. Protect your skin by wearing at least an SPF of 30 every day. Even if you’re not sun-bathing, wear SPF every day. We get UV from the tv, phone, tablet, computer. You get UV when you drive to work. Protect yourself. Every day.

If you follow these spring skincare tips, I promise your skin will glow for the spring! Please leave any questions in the comments. Be beautiful!
