What happens if you apply lemon under your arm

Lemon is one of the fruits that can be used for a wide variety of health purposes, including beauty goals. Egyptians believed that they can keep away poisoning if they are eating and drinking lemon on a regular basis. Their belief related to lemon has been highlighted and confirmed by recent scientific research. The health and beauty benefits of lemon for the human body are well-known for hundreds of years and are numerous.

If we needed to enumerate the most common and best health benefits of lemon, it is crucial to mention that the fruit is popular for its immune system strengthening, antibacterial and antiviral properties.

In terms of dieting, lemon represents an important and powerful ingredient because it can stimulate digestion; this is the reason why it is especially recommended for people who suffer from digestive problems. Another reason why you should have lemon integrated into your diet on a regular basis is that it is able to detoxify the liver, full of toxins and chemicals that you bring into your body through the numerous unhealthy foods that you eat daily. It is easy to admit that along with its health and beauty benefits, lemon is a great dietary agent as well.

Pectin, bioflavonoids, vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, and citric acid are the main vitamins and minerals that lemon is rich in. All of these powerful ingredients are proven to efficiently fight against the majority of infections, but strengthen the immune system at the same time. The list of miraculous benefits that lemon has to offer for your health and body doesn’t stop here; there is still a lot more to find out! Even if it sounds strange, but when you place the lemon on your armpits, something wonderful happens! This is a beauty secret that only a few people are aware of.

Lemon can actually play the role of a beauty product, more precisely a deodorant that perfectly serves against sweating. Using the fruit for this purpose is very easy: all you have to do is take one slice of lemon and gently rub it on your armpits. The two minerals contained in lemon, magnesium, and potassium have antibacterial properties and in this case, when applied on your armpits, they will efficiently balance the pH level of the skin. Now that you know that you can use lemon as a deodorant, will you continue purchasing expensive sprays from the stores that are most probably less efficient?

Comparing lemon, as a natural deodorant to expensive sprays available for sale at the markets, you will definitely choose lemon. You never know what chemicals and toxins you may apply to your armpits when using a deodorant spray and this fact might easily lead to a severe infection. In the case of lemon, this is totally excluded. The citric acid present in the fruit is the natural agent that eliminates the unpleasant smell of sweating, so if you have this problem, all we can do is just encourage you to give the lemon a try, because you won’t regret it.

  1. Been doing this for a while. Doesn’t stop sweat, only neutralises odour. Sweating isn’t a bad thing as your body releases toxins that way, so you shouldn’t really prevent your sweat glands from doing what it is meant to do. For extra protection I use a natural deodorant on top of this. Definitely recommend that if you’re active or if it’s hot outside as the lemon, or lime on it’s own may not give you all day protection.
